Welcome to your Compass Session 🌿

I’m so glad you’re here.

This Compass Session is your space to pause, take stock, and gently turn back toward yourself.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll receive:

  • One 90-minute 1:1 session to map out where you are and where you want to go

  • Six weeks of Voxer support – so you’re not doing this alone between sessions

  • One 30-minute follow-up call to check in, course-correct, and celebrate what’s shifting

This page has everything you need to get ready:

how to set up Voxer, how to make your collage, and how to share it with me.

Take what you need, in your own time. This is meant to feel supportive, not like homework. 💛

First: What the collage is actually about

Before we get into the “how,” here’s the heart of it:

Your collage is not about being artistic, or having a big vision, or knowing exactly what you want.

It’s simply a way to:

  • Notice what you’re drawn to

  • Let your body and gut respond to images

  • Gather clues about how you want your life to feel

There are no wrong images. No way to mess this up.

If something feels good / intriguing / soothing / alive – it belongs.

Gentle prompts to get you started

When you’re choosing images or words, you can keep questions like these in the back of your mind:

  • How do I want my days to feel?

  • What do I want more of in my life? (even if I don’t know how to get it yet)

  • Where do I feel most like myself?

  • If my life felt a little more “me” again, what might it include?

  • What kinds of spaces, colours, textures, people, and activities light me up?

You don’t have to answer these directly.

Just let them sit quietly in the background while you choose images and words.

Setting the scene

This is meant to feel like a small date with yourself, not a chore.

  • Make yourself a tea / coffee / glass of wine / sparkling water

  • Get cozy: blanket, candles, comfy clothes, music if you like

  • Give yourself at least 20–30 minutes to play with this (you can absolutely go longer if you’re enjoying it)

You can do it all in one sitting or add to it over a few days. Both are totally fine.

Creating your collage

You have a few options. Choose the one that feels easiest for you.

Option 1 — Pinterest (recommended if you’re happy to use it)

  1. Create a free Pinterest account (if you don’t already have one)

    • Go to pinterest.com or download the Pinterest app

    • Sign up with your email, Google, or Apple ID

  2. Create a private board

    • Go to your Pinterest profile

    • Click “+” → Board

    • Name it something like: “Compass Session – My Collage”

    • Toggle “Keep this board secret” so it’s private

  3. Start pinning anything that feels good / interesting / comforting / alive

    • Photos, quotes, colours, interiors, landscapes, art, clothes, textures, words… anything

    • Don’t overthink it. If it feels like a “yes” (even a tiny yes), pin it.

  4. When you’re ready, send me the board link

    • Open your board

    • Click or tap the ⋯ (three dots)

    • Select “Copy link”

    • Paste the link into Voxer or email it to me (suzanne@suzannehepburn.com)

Option 2 — Simple digital collage (no Pinterest needed)

If you’d rather not use Pinterest, you can make a simple collage with free tools.

On a computer (Canva – free version):

  1. Go to canva.com and create a free account

  2. Click “Create a design” → “Custom size” or choose a template like “Poster” or “A4 document”

  3. Use the Elements tab and Photos tab to search for images/words that match how you want to feel

  4. Drag them onto the page and arrange them however you like

  5. When you’re done, click “Share” → “Download” and save it as a JPG or PNG

  6. Email the image to me or send it as an attachment via Voxer

On your phone:

  • Use any free collage app you like (search “photo collage” in the App Store/Google Play)

  • Or simply save a bunch of images to an album in your Photos that represent how you want life to feel

Then:

Option 3 — Old-school paper collage

If screens make you tired or you love tactile things, you can:

  1. Grab magazines, newspapers, old books, junk mail, etc.

  2. Rip or cut out anything that catches your eye

  3. Glue them onto a page or piece of card

  4. Take clear photos of your collage

  5. Email me the photos (suzanne@suzannehepburn.com) or send them via Voxer

Don’t worry about it being “finished” or perfect.

We’ll use whatever you have as a starting point in our session.

Setting up Voxer

We’ll use Voxer so you can have support between sessions without needing to text or be “on” all the time.

  1. Download the free Voxer app

    • Search for “Voxer Walkie Talkie Messenger” in the App Store or Google Play

  2. Create a free account with your email or phone

  3. I’ll send you my Voxer details once your session is booked

  4. We’ll connect there so you can send:

    • Your collage

    • Voice notes

    • Questions or reflections that come up between sessions

You can leave messages for me whenever you like; I’ll reply during my working hours.

Final note 💬

If any part of this feels confusing or you get stuck, please don’t stress.

Bring whatever you’ve managed to create — even if it’s just a handful of images or a half-finished board —

and we’ll work with it together.

This whole process is about listening for the you that’s still here under the noise, not about doing it right.
